Történet:

A hét éves Melek egy tengerparti házban él édesanyjával és édesapjával. Ő és édesanyja kénytelenek elviselni a családfő folytonos bántalmazását és terrorját. A kislány titkon arról álmodozik,hogy egy napon az élete végre megváltozik és ő is boldog lehet mint a többi gyermek. Életében a változást egyik tanára, Zeynep hozza meg.

A tanárnő és a kislány között hamar szoros kötelék alakul ki. Amikor észreveszi a kislányon a zúzódásokat és megtudja, hogy milyen a családi háttere, eldönti, hogy kimenekíti a kislányt a földi pokolból. Megrendezi a gyermek halálát, és magához veszi őt. Majd Zeynep és Melek új helyen, új életet kezd. A kislány édesanyja azonban nem tud beletörődni gyermeke elveszésébe és míg nem látja a holttestet, nem hiszi el, hogy lánya halott ...
